AI Transparency & Explainability through Policy Prototyping

The Open Loop Singapore program was a collaborative initiative between Meta, Singapore’s Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA), and the Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC). The program focused on co-developing and testing a policy prototype on AI transparency & explainability (T&E), rooted in Singapore’s Model AI Governance Framework (MF) and its Implementation and Self-Assessment Guide for Organizations (ISAGO). Engaging with 12 companies across the APAC region, the program aimed to refine AI governance tools and enhance their practical application in real-world scenarios.
